12th Tribal Youth Exchange Programme 2019-2020 was Conducted

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The 12th Tribal Youth Exchange Programme got started in Kolkata, with the formal inaugural ceremony being conducted in Kolkata. This event was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, West Bengal, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, from 14-20th January 2020, with support from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. In the context of this event, active participation had been ensured on the part of more than 200 tribal youths, from  6 tribal-dominated districts of the country spread across three states namely Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is one of the major flagship programmes of Ministry of Home Affair, where these 200 youths had undergone this programme containing various academic sessions, Different Activities, Gameplay, Presentation and Interaction. The Major contents of the programme are Youth Parliament, Skill Development and Employment Generation, Cultural Programme, Human Right, Swamiji’s thought, Declamation contest, Field Visit, Motivational talk, Govt Flagship Programme, Leadership and personality development, Yoga, Nexalite Problem and its solution etc. The main objective of this event is to develop a better understanding of the diverse cultural ethos, language, lifestyles of the people decipting unity in diversity among the tribal youths and create a platform for national integration. During the inaugural session, eminent

persons namely Krishna Chakraborty, Mayor, Bidhan Nagar Municipal Corporation, Avinanandan Maharaj, President, Ramakrishna Mission Bagbazar, Sunil Kumar Yadav, Commandant CRPF (West Bengal), Avijit Bose, Ex-State Director, NYKS Odisha, Sarita Patel, Regional Coordinate, NSS and Jabba Chakraborty, Deputy Director, NYKS West Bengal were present.
