Celebrating Christmas Eve at Acropolis Mall with less privileged kids of Pathchala
News Desk, News Nation 360 : Acropolis Mall, India’s one of the premium malls has played the Santa for the children of Pathchala and ushered in the merry Christmas in the right spirit. The mall has Decked in dazzling Christmas décor with its theme christened Enchanting Christmas. Modelled on recently released “Encanto” the Disney animated musical flick on the Madrigals and their magic house, this is the first time in the world any mall has been decked up in this avatar. This has given a perfect reason to Acropolis mall to organize a tour of the children to the enchanting décor and present Christmas goodies to them. The children performed street play against the backdrop of the colourful butterflies and macaws and the magical Madigal house. The play carries a social message on the joy of giving. Two youngsters namely Rupayan Paul, an aspiring actor and Abhrajit Bhattacharya directed the street play and trained the less privileged kids of Pathchala. The children enacted their first play in Rashbehari Avenue and this is the second such play at Acropolis Mall. K Vijayan, GM, Acropolis stated that the Yuletide season always brings raptures to our lives as we indulge in a shopping spree and freshly baked cakes. They chose this occasion to celebrate the merry Christmas and share their joy with the little children of Pathchala in a humble way. It is heartening to see them enacting the play. They at Acropolis Mall are offering children and their families to enjoy their Christmas and new year here with the magical décor on the theme of soon to be released animated movie “Encanto”. Their Brands are doling out sops on their winter merchandizes. Their joy has been doubled as they received Encon 2021 Award from the British Hi commissioner for energy conservation. They wish their valuable guests a merry Christmas and a happy new year. According to Rukmini Paul from Pathshala, she expressed her gratitude towards Acropolis Mall and Merlin Group for presenting such a lovely Christmas evening to the children today. Pathchala is a non-profit organization located in Kalighat and it works for the less privileged children in and around Kalighat. The children of Pathchala enjoyed the freshly baked cakes and sweets baked in “The Flavours of Bakery”, the bakery festival being held in Acropolis Mall from 22nd December to 26th December between 12 noon and 10 pm to cater to the sweet tooth of foodies. At the Bakery Festival - Flavours of Bakery, the most popular brands like The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata, Holiday Inn are Participating in the Bakery Festival along with the other brands like Design My Cake, Bimbi’s. Mambo’s, Khadure, Bread House, Crave, Eagle Bites Pizza, Crazy 4 Cakes, Moni’s Bakery, La felicita, Mamo’s, Kocoa Mania, Cakes Shakes, Cakelicious and Mithis Paradise.
