Bengal Chemists and Druggists Association Celebrated their Centenary Year Programme
News Desk, News Nation 360 : Bengal Chemists and Druggists Association (BCDA), having 400,000 members in West Bengal, formed on 9th January 1921 are going to celebrate their Centenary year programme on 9th January 2020 in Kolkata. Keeping in view the Logo of their organization Service to Humanity, BCA has taken various social activities like holding Blood Donation Camps, Free
Medical check-up camps, distribution of fruits amongst the patients in various hospitals, distribution of cloths to the underprivileged people of the society, eradication of Dengue, Tree Plantation and make a plastic-free World etc. throughout the year to commemorate the centennial year. Apart from above BCDA will handover a cheque of Rs 10 Lacs for Chief Minister Relief Fund to the Hon'ble Mayor, Janab Firhad Hakim who has given his consent to inaugurate their programme along with Molay Ghatak, Minister-in-Charge, Dept. of Labour, Govt. of West Bengal Atin Ghosh, Dy. Mayor, KMC will also be present as Special Guests. The President and General Secretary of All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD) along with other office bearers will also grace the programme as their Special Guest. Dr Sukumar Mukherjee, Eminent Physician, Sirshendu Mukhopadhyay, Eminent Bengali Author, Laxmi Ratan Shukla, Minister for Youth and Sports Services, Govt of West Bengal, Hoymanti Shukla, Eminent Singer, Surojit Sengupta, Eminent Sports Person, Biswajit Das, Eminent Journalist, Tarapada Sas, Director of Drugs Control, West Bengal were the eminent personalities presented there.
