Blood Donation Camp
News Desk, News Nation 360 : When the whole world is following the “Stay at Home orders”, Blood donation is still considered as a major concern to the health care system as donated blood is lifesaving for several patients. Kutchina Foundation made a sincere effort to serve the Health Care community by organizing a Blood Donation Camp at the Kutchina Foundation head office at Chinar Park, Kolkata in the presence of Chandrima Bhattacharya, Minister of State, Health & Family Welfare. The Camp was also attended by prominent guests likes Debraj Chakraborty, Mayor, Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation, Manish Mukherjee, Councillor, Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation, who solicited their extensive support for the noble cause. At the moment when there is an acute shortage of active blood donors during this Pandemic, Kutchina Foundation comprehended,
that in this exceptionally difficult period it is necessary to deploy the resources to cope with the needs of fighting the Covid-19 crisis. The camp was inaugurated by Chandrima Bhattacharya. She Said that there is hardly any other service to humanity as noble and virtuous as the donation of blood because donating blood doesn’t cost anything but potentially it can save a life. Namit Bajoria, Founder & Trustee, Kutchina Foundation & Honorary Consul, North Macedonia, Kolkata, was also present along with 30 donors in the camp.
