An Evening in the Name of Veteran Hindi Poet Dhruvdev Mishra Pashan 


News Desk, News Nation 360 : A program focused on senior Hindi poet Dhruvdev Mishra Pashan under the series 'Kolkata Ke Rachnakar' by Nilambar Kolkata was organized at Sagar, Sealdah Officers Club on the evening of 20 November. At the beginning of the first session of the program, a video montage based on his poems was presented. The poem was recited by Smita Goyal. A collage made on the poems of Dhruvdev Mishra Pashan was also presented by the team of Neelamber. The artists who participated included Smita Goyal, Shailesh Gupta, Anila Rakhecha, Chayanika Dutta Gupta, Raunak Afroz, Anupama Jha, Deepak Thakur, Hans Raj, Poonam Sonchhatra, Rachna Saran,


Ajay Singh, Moushumi Prasad and Julee Jhanvi Agarwal. Neelamber’s President Yatish Kumar said that Pashan Ji is a poet of energy, anger, dissent, struggle, resistance, revolution for blood and anger. The popular poet whose poems not only caress but also shakes. Rachna Saran conducted the session. In the lecture session of the program, an attempt was made to see the work of Dhruvdev Mishra Pashan in its entirety. The keynote speakers of this session were Krishna Kalpit, Neelkamal, and Neeraj Kumar Singh. All the speakers discussed the various aspects of his creative work. Talking about his creation, Dhruvadev Mishra Pashan got very emotional and said that the one whom Kolkata has given so much love, what more does he need. At the end of the program, Dhruvdev Mishra Pashan was honoured by giving a memento in the hands of Sudhanshu Ranjan, Additional Director, Kolkata Doordarshan. Many literary lovers of Kolkata were present on this occasion. Vimlesh Tripathi, Hans Raj and Rachna Saran played an important role in the composition of the program. Ritesh Kumar, Manoj Jha, Vishal Pandey, Abhishek Pandey and Bharat Saw played important roles in the technical team.
