Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine organized EZCCCON 2019

News Desk, News Nation 360: To spread the awareness and changing trends in the field of critical care Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) Kolkata Chapter organizes every year annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs. This year ISCCM Kolkata is hosting the East Zone Critical Care Conference 2019 on 15 & 16 November 2019 at Vivanta followed by Post Conference Workshop on 17 November 2019; the biggest zonal conference in critical care with a footfall of more than 500 zonal and national faculty and delegates. The  august  ceremony  will

be blessed by Swami Satyeshananda, Assistant General Secretary, Ramkrishna Mission & Ramkrishna Math. There will be a Motivational Key note address by Dr Debi Singh Saini, Renowned Scholar and Motivational Speaker. Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) was established in the year 1993, in Mumbai, India. It is the largest non-profit association of Indian Physicians, Nurses, Physiotherapists and other allied health care professionals involved in the care of the critically ill. Dr. Sourav Kole, President, ISCCM has toldthat Critical Care aims to raise awareness of issues faced by critical care professionals and foster a holistic collaboration among the critical care team to improve the quality of care for critically ill patients. Keeping this in mind the theme of the conference this year is Critical Care @ 360 degree. Dr, Sauren Panja, secretary, ISCCM, told, in recent times the clinicians working in the field of acute care i.e. critical care or emergency are facing a tough situation as they are facing violence and are hassled day in and day out in the clinical area. The clinicians are apprehensive about this scenario where they are threatened every day. The main focus of the discussion will be to improve the situation and eradicate the fear of the clinicians and to bring in a situation to deliver trustworthy and quality critical care service at appropriate and affordable cost. The plenary sessions will include a conglomeration of different super specialties along with Critical Care medicine and the multidisciplinary approach taken to manage critically ill patients. The scientific agenda has been framed with various innovative sessions like Panel Discussion, Thematic sessions, Pro-Con Debate, Oration ceremony, quiz session, JAMA (Just Ask Me Anything), Debate, TED Talk.
