The Fight of Korok Biswas

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Bengali meaning of the name Korok is the Lotus Bud. Here, in this story, Korok Biswas is an Intellectually Challenged Child, the only son of Kallol Biswas and Sarama Biswas. He was born on 17th July 2003 and was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at his 7.5 months of age. Down Syndrome is a lifelong condition which can cause Intellectual Disability, Development delays, Distinct Facial appearances, Low Muscular Tones etc, and it was no exception with Korok. After his 05 years of age, he was able to move and utter some words illegibly. Before that, he was just nothing but like an inert living being. In spite of all sort of Mental, Physical, Social and other barriers created for his disability, he never above barriers. He continues his fight to be at par to the Main-Stream only with his passion for Dance and Music, with which he loves to spend almost all the times. Realizing his inclination to the art of Dance and Music, they took this up as a challenge to support him in receiving the formal Training in various Dance Forms. He received the National Scholarship from CCRT (Center for Cultural Resources and Training), under Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of India on Gaudiya Nritya, He also received so many National Awards and has participated and won so many dance competitions. To felicitate this Young Talent, a felicitation programme was organized in Kolkata where he was present with his family. The above are the results of Fight of Korok Biswas till date and this Fight will continue till he can prove himself as a Main-Stream Person in this world. This is a true event to motivate somebody.
