News Desk, News Nation 360 : Navy Day in India is celebrated on 4 December every year to recognize the achievements and role of the Indian Navy to the country. The cultural program included various
dance performances by Beat Busters. There was a musical performance by Moksha who made sure the audience keep grooving. To add thrill to the event there was a magician who left the audience in awe with his tricks. On the occasion of Indian Navy Day, Renowned Emcee Anneysha Thakker was recognized by Retired Rear Admiral VK Saxena for her contribution to her profession as an emcee at INS Netaji Subhash Hastings. A cultural evening was organized for the Indian Naval force in the presence of retired Rear Admiral VK Saxena-now the chairman and MD of Garden Reach shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd, Kadambari Saxena (and his good lady), Commodore Suprabho Dey, Naval Officer In Charge West Bengal, Bandana Dey (his good lady), Officers, Sailors and their families of INS Netaji Subhas and additional units of West Bengal. n India, the Navy Day is celebrated to remember and recognize the courageous attack on the Karachi border during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war on 4th December. The theme which is usually used is Safe Seas and Secure Coasts for a strong Nation. Speaking on this occasion, Anneysha Thakker, renowned emcee said that she is overwhelmed to be felicitated by retired Admiral VK Saxena. It is a very important day for all the Naval officers across the country and she feels honoured to be a part of this special occasion.
