Indus Towers installs mobile tower at

IIT Kharagpur campus

News Desk, News Nation 360: In preparation for the online classes commencing from 1 st September 2020, IIT Kharagpur unveiled a new mobile tower at the campus on the occasion of 73 rd  Independence Day. Installed by Indus Towers, the new tower aims to enable seamless connectivity at the campus to help professors conduct online classes from the university campus without any disruption. Prof. Virendra Kumar Tewari, Director, IIT Kharagpur; Prof. Sriman Kumar Bhattacharyya, Deputy Director, IIT Kharagpur; Prof. Bhrigu Nath Singh, Registrar (officiating), IIT Kharagpur; S.S. Jha, Security Head, IIT Kharagpur; and Raja Dutta, Technology Head, IIT Kharagpur were present during the inauguration. Neeraj Singh, Circle CEO, West Bengal told online learning at college and school level has become the mainstay during the COVID-19 crisis and it is increasingly being accepted as a new paradigm in education. Indus Towers is delighted to enable online education through their

extensive network of infrastructure provided to all telecom operators and other wireless services providers across India. The new mobile tower at the IIT Kharagpur campus will enable professors and the students connect for a better virtual lecture experience.
