News Desk, News Nation 360: Iti Ranjan: a musical soiree showcasing the relevance of Tagore in today’s world. Iti Ranjan showcases beautiful snippets of Tagoriana through songs, reading, instrumental sarod renditions, and enactment. It is a tribute by two artists Dr Mousumi Banerjee and Shoumo Banerjee from two different walks of life, united by their passion for Tagore, on the occasion of Baishey Srabon. The eminent guests present in the programme are Debolina Dutta and Rj Agni. How does Tagore’s unconventional definition of love and romanticism present in the current day context? Have the struggles, fights and emancipation of Ela, Nandini, and Labanya changed, or have they simply taken new forms? In a world ravaged by war, ailments and social divisiveness, how does Tagore’s philosophy help alleviate suffering and seek solace through acceptance of the truth? The Concept was made by Dr Mousumi Banerjee,  Directed by Dr Rajeeb Chakraborty. Dr Mousumi Banerjee played vocals, and Sarod played by Shoumo Banerjee, portry reading and narrated by Arghyakamal Chattopadhyay,  Debasish Saha on Keyboard, Tabla played by Goutam Chowdhury.
