Kolkata Happening City - which is about the old Kolkata

News Desk, News Nation 360: Renowned architect Belani Group publishes a delightful book-Kolkata Happening City which is about the old Kolkata's architecture. They published this book on the occasion of celebrating 50 years of Belani Group. Prominent actors Soumitra Chatterjee, dramatist personality and minister Bratya Basu, Vice-Chancellor of Presidency University Anuradha Lohia, renowned architect Partha Ranjan Das and Biplab Ganguly were present. Before the publication of the book, a seminar was organized, which was titled - Can Kolkata's rich architecture legacy is transformed into competitive advantage? On this subject, every speaker presented his comments on the architect of old Kolkata. Every speaker wants the old architects of

the City of Kolkata to be tradition. They do not want to break them and build new architects. The book has about 2700 photographs, which showcase the architects of Kolkata and architects hiding in the corner of Kolkata. The spectacular Victoria Memorial, Iconic Howrah Bridge, Raj Bhavan, Kolkata Gate, Marble Palace, Metropolitan Building, Esplanade Palaces, Nakhoda Mosque, St. Andrew Church, Kolkata High Court, Howrah Station, Eden Gardens, Tata Center, Taj Bengal, Presidency University's unknown facts have recorded here. Not only that, there is written about popular restaurants like Oh! Calcutta, Kafila, Mocambo. Here are the interviews of prominent personalities such as Sri Debashis Sen, Anuradha Lohia, Harsh Neotia, Sanjay Jhunjhunwala, GM Kapoor, Sumit Dabriwal, Architect Dulal Mukherjee, Abin Chowdhury, Partha Ranjan Das, Vivek Rathore and Anuradha Rathore. Chairman of the Bellani Group Nandu K Belani said that we crossed 50 years in this year. Within five decades, Kolkata has given us lots of opportunities to make more than 50 properties. Now our turn has come to give a return gift to Kolkata. So we dedicate this book to Kolkata.
