News Desk, News Nation 360 : International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) had just recently opened a Permanent Modern Mechanized Kitchen at The Sagar Islands, during the Ongoing Gangasagar Mela 2020. This year ISKCON is ready to provide more than 100,000 free Prasadam Meals, Medical Care, Temporary Night Shelter, Clothes and Vedic Literature. More than 600 Volunteers will work day and night to humble serve the visiting pilgrims in
their Temporary Charity Camps. ISKCON's International Delegates are going to perform Mahaharinam Sankirtan to encourage the World Peace and Brotherhood. ISKCON Gangasagar would like to offer them an opportunity to experience a Hot, Beautiful, Nutritionally well-balanced, 100% pure vegetarian full meal Prasadam (Sanctified Food) throughout the year because, Indian Vedic Culture describers that, any Tirth-Yatra is incomplete without honouring prasadam. The meal named Annamrita-Thali, will be consisting of Rice, Dal, Rotu, Sabji, Chutney and Sweet available from 8 AM to 8 PM throughout the day. In addition, giving a fillip to the aspiration and vision of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, to develop spiritual tourism in the Gangasagar Belt, ISKCON is ready to launch a permanent, semi-mechanized, modern and compact kitchen which will be capable to prepare up to 10,000 meals/day at the Sagar Islands throughout the year. The compact kitchen which has been designed in such a way so that proper hygiene, food safety and security norms is maintained. This pilot project will be implemented by ISKCON throughout the year by offering meals to the Tirth-Yatris on YOU PAY AS YOU CAN basis. But, the actual objective is to, in any circumstances, none should leave Gangasagr Dham without receiving Lord Kapil Mani's and Gangadevi's mercy in the form of Prasad, This is absolutely non-profit, non-sectarian but charitable initiative to feed the poor and hungry Tirth-Yatris regardless of caste, creed, race, language or religion to encourage Universal Brotherhood.
