Automobile Association of Eastern India announced Moitri - First-Ever Indo-Bangla Friendship Rally 2020
News Desk, News Nation 360 : Automobile Association of Eastern India (AAEI) announced the first-ever Indo-Bangla Friendship Rally 2020 Moitri to be held from 27th February to 4th March 2020. Present on the occasion were Milan Mukherjee, Chairman, Automobile Association of Eastern India (AAEI), Dulal Basu, Former Sheriff of Kolkata, Madan Mitra, Chairman of Automobile Association of Eastern India and Joy Sarkar, Music Composer and Singer, who has sung the theme song of the event. The rally falls in tune with the FIA’s Action for Road Safety. The FIA’s Action for Road Safety is a global campaign that considers the safety of everyone involved in motorsports – from those at the grassroots level to the pinnacle of Formula 1, as its most important priority. More than 50 cars are expected to participate in the rally which would start from AAEI club in the morning. Starting from Kolkata, the route would cover stretches of Eastern India and Bangladesh including
Bongaon, Jessore, Dhaka, Chittagong, Coxbazar, Rajshahi etc finally concluding at Siliguri. The special attraction of the event will be cultural programmes at different halts enroute. Milan Mukherjee, Chairman of Automobile Association of Eastern India said that to mark the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Automobile Association of Eastern India has taken this initiative of organizing this friendship rally between two countries that are connected in so many ways. This rally will not only strengthen bilateral relations but also act as a bridge for exchanging cultural relations.
