News Desk, News Nation 360 : Zee Bangla, a well-known brand in Bengali entertainment channels, has created a captivating new mega show called "Ashtomi," which will premiere on April 8, 2024. Ritobrata Dey, Saptarshi Maulik, and Kaushik Chakraborty play important roles in this epic work, which was produced by Arka Ganguly of Organinc Studios Private Limited. It promises viewers an immersive experience in a narrative woven with mystery, intrigue, and divine interventions in the form of folklore. The story takes place in the charming village of Nabogram, where legends from antiquity surround the goddess Bourani, who is said to take the form of her most devoted follower on a holy day. The chief priest of the village disappears, and Purushottam, the Zamindar, takes over. Ashtomi, a 21-year-old Kolkata-born schoolteacher who feels an unexplainable bond with Nabogram, enters this scene. When she exposes the Zamindar's deceit as a godman, resistance grows and eventually she marries his son, Ayushmaan. Ashtomi loses her sight due to a tragic event, but Bourani gives her supernormal senses, which creates the basis for an engaging storyline. Be sure not to miss the captivating performances in "Ashtomi," which is helmed creatively by Arabinda Dasgupta and directed by Baboo Banik. It will premiere exclusively on Zee Bangla on April 8, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.
