PNHOA Promotes the Successful Implementation of Ayushman Bharat to Improve Public Healthcare

The conference, which was attended by a distinguished group of medical stakeholders, hospital administrators, and organisational leaders, including PNHOA President Prof. Dr. Gautam Narayan Sarkar, Chief Advisor Dr Malay Pit, senior officials Ashutosh Mondal, and Joint Secretary Taher Sheikh, addressed urgent structural issues like increasing access to affordable healthcare, improving public-private collaboration, and guaranteeing the long-term financial viability of private medical facilities. Dr Sarkar reaffirmed the organisation's steadfast commitment to working with legislators to integrate vulnerable socioeconomic groups into a coordinated, effective, and inclusive public health ecosystem, emphasising that private hospitals and nursing homes already bear a significant portion of the state's patient load. Concluding with a formal commitment by PNHOA to continue active, sustained engagement with government bodies to foster policy support, drive clinical innovation, and secure long-term, accessible medical care for every citizen across West Bengal, turnkey discussions also focused on building robust medical infrastructure to alleviate mounting pressure on state-run healthcare services.
