they also published a legendary book titled by 'Settlement Kanungo Samitike Satabarsher Aloke Phiredekha' written by about 63 personalities, related to this department in so many Land Reforms works in the past and at present. To remember as well as to celebrate the said occasion, more than 400 officers from different districts of West Bengal (once performed as Kanungo, now W.B.S.L.R.S. gr-l), both retired and in-service officers like I.A.S., I.P.S., W.B.C.S. (Exe-Jud), officers of different superior posts of Land Reforms Department and so many other officers of so many sectors have been assembled to celebrate the Centenary occasion in Kolkata. In this centenary celebration, they expect the govt. will continue and will take all types of measures and programmes and policies so that real Land Reforms are performed which are most essential for the greater benefit of the people, society and the country. They believe so long relationship and interest of the individual public will exist with the land and property, there is no other alternative, but to take all possible steps and attempts to create and establish real Land Reforms.
