Solace Group of Companies Launched Campaign to Promote Menstruation Hygiene Management in Schools

This initiative responded to the global evidence of a significant lack of guidance, facilities, and materials available to school girls to manage their menstruation effectively. The absence of these resources constitutes a neglected public health, social, and educational issue, demanding prioritization and coordinated efforts. The primary objective of this campaign was to raise awareness about the challenges faced by schoolgirls during menstruation and the potential risks and consequences associated with the lack of proper MHM education. Many girls remain uneducated in the field of facilitating accurate and sufficient information and practice on MHM. The official inauguration of this philanthropic program took place in the presence of esteemed individuals who have shown unwavering commitment to social causes, Sobhan Mukherjee, the PADMAN of Bengal & social worker, Prakriti Chakraborty, “The Fitness Wonder”, winner of Regional Yoga Olympiad 2023, Dr Rajarshi Ghosh, Assistant Professor in Zoology, Maulana Azad College, Jiban Saha, Councillor, KMC Ward - 57 and Ayan Chakraborty, President of Taki House Boys' and Councillor, KMC Ward - 28. Sanjib Kundu, Head – Of Operations at Solace Group Of Companies, emphasized the true essence of this campaign, stating that their main goal and motto for this project extend beyond the mere distribution of free sanitary napkins.
