Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Organised World Peace The Critical Need of the Time    

News Desk, News Nation 360 : World Peace – The Critical Need of the Time – A Peace Symposium was organised by The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Kolkata in Kolkata where hundreds of People belonging from diverse religion/faith/sects/Institutions participated. The Ahmadi Muslims believe in the Promised Messiah of the age, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (Peace be upon him). Every Ahmadi Muslim is an extremely loyal citizen and loves his country as he follows

the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (May Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that the love for one’s nation is an integral part of one’s faith. Every Ahmadi Muslim believes that God Almighty has sent prophets and reformers for the spiritual development of mankind at all times and they make no distinction between them. They, therefore, believe in Jesus Christ, Shri Krishna, Gautam Buddha, Mahavira, Guru Nanak. In this occasion, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said that technology has been developed that had the capability of wiping nations off the map with the press of a button. He is referring to the development of weapons of mass destruction that are capable of inflicting the most unimaginable horrors and devastation. Such weapons are being produced that have the potential to destroy not only civilization but also leave a legacy of misery for generations to come. This Peace Symposia throughout the globe was to promote a deeper understanding of Islam and inspire a concerted effort for lasting peace which is the need of the time. The programme was presided by Shiraz Ahmad – Additional Executive Director of The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, India. The other dignitaries on the stage were Tanweer Bani – President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Kolkata, Mohammad Muslehuddin Saadi – Missionary In-charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Kolkata, Tariq Ahmed K – President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Wing, India. After reciting the Verses of the Holy Quran, the guests were welcomed and a small introduction of Jama’at Ahmadiyya was presented.
