News Desk, News Nation 360 : A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to finance the purchase of Airbus helicopters in India has been signed by Airbus Helicopters and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), the government of India's primary financial institution for promoting, financing, and developing the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector. With this partnership, SIDBI is taking a big step towards financing helicopters and addressing the financial and developmental requirements of India's rapidly expanding rotary wing industry. Sunny Guglani, Head of Airbus Helicopters, India and South Asia stated that by granting operators in India greater access to civil helicopters, the MoU with SIDBI will strengthen the role of these rotary wing aircraft as vital instruments for national development. Their unparalleled product offering and industry knowledge, along with SIDBI's alluring financing options, will be essential to the growth of the civil helicopter market in India. Sunny Guglani, Head of Airbus Helicopters, India and South Asia, and Rahul Priyadarshi, Chief General Manager, SIDBI, signed the MoU. According to the MoU, Airbus Helicopters and SIDBI will work together to find Indian civil helicopter operators who might be interested in financing options for Airbus helicopter purchases. Airbus will supply SIDBI with the technical know-how and industry knowledge related to helicopters, and SIDBI will assess these opportunities and finance them exclusively for Airbus.
