JIS Group Highlighted Exceptional Achievements at the JIS Samman 2024

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The largest award show presented by the JIS Group, JIS SAMMAN 2024, was held at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre on February 1, 2024. Stars, academics, members of the JIS Group community, and notable figures from the entertainment and sports industries graced the occasion. The ceremony opened with the award presentation, and then legendary rock group FOSSILS gave a thrilling performance. This year, renowned pulmonologist Dr Partha Sarathi Bhattacharya and professor and dean of IIT Kharagpur Dr Suman Chakraborty received the esteemed JIS Maha Samman. Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group stated that they are honoured and delighted to present the JIS SAMMAN 2024, their esteemed awards ceremony that recognises exceptional accomplishments in a variety of fields. In addition to honouring the outstanding achievements of notable people, this occasion encourages others to pursue greatness. This yearly programme aims to recognise and honour those who have made noteworthy contributions to their fields. The main attraction of JIS SAMMAN, as in years past, was the esteemed JIS Maha SAMMAN awards, which are given to people who have achieved greatness in their fields and left a lasting impression on society. The JIS Maha SAMMAN 2024 awards were given to two distinguished individuals: Dr Partha Sarathi Bhattacharya, a renowned pulmonologist who is well-known for his skilful and compassionate approach to demystifying what is frequently a very complex and confusing area of health care, and Dr Suman Chakraborty, a professor and dean at IIT Kharagpur who is recognised for his significant contributions to mechanical engineering and a source of sheer motivation for numerous engineering aspirants.
