Kargil Martyr Families Honoured by ALLEN Kolkata in the Shaurya Vandan Programme

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The ALLEN Career Institute in Kolkata hosted a magnificent Shaurya Vandan programme on Monday to honour the valiant soldiers and their families who gave their lives in defence of the country. The Chief guest of the occasion was Subedar Major Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav, recipient of the Param Veer Chakra. Under the auspices of Dhano Dhanyo Auditorium, 1, Thackrey Road, Police Line, Aillpore, Kolkata, ALLEN Career Institute Private Limited hosted the Shaurya Vandan programme in honour of the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay. The programme paid tribute to the families of the local Kolkata residents who lost their lives in the Kargil conflict. Yogendra Yadav, the Param Vir Chakra winner, Director Rajesh Maheshwari, Senior Faculty Anurag Mishra, Sanjay Gaur, and Centre Head Debashish Sanyal paid respect to the families by making obeisance to the martyrs during the programme. The program commenced with honouring the families of the martyrs. Captain Yadav, remembering the martyrs' sacrifice, stated that because they are secure, the nation advances. They have this security because of their brave soldiers who have risked their lives for it. They must never forget what they gave up and never fail to thank their families. There were the families of Shahid Birsa Oraon, Shahid Nageshwar Mahto, Shahid Suresh Chhetri, Shahid Purba Tamang, and Shahid Lincon Pradhan. Along with an honours certificate, each family also received a Rs. 11,000 cheque. The families moved each other with their stories, which created a touching atmosphere. Students in attendance gave the martyrs a standing ovation and salute as a sign of respect.
