SkidControlTM, an exclusive traction control system from Ather, regulates motor torque to keep the Rizta from losing traction on low-friction surfaces like gravel, sand, water, or oil. The Rizta also incorporates additional safety features, such as Ping My Scooter, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), FallSafeTM, and Theft and Tow Detect. Ather Energy, known for its high-performance 450 series electric scooters, has launched the new Rizta targeting the family segment. With a presence in West Bengal through 4 Experience Centres and over 27 fast-charging stations, Ather offers convenient access to its electric scooters. The Rizta comes in two models, S and Z, with three variants based on battery capacity. The S and Z models with a 2.9 kWh battery offer a 123 km range, while the Z model with a 3.7 kWh battery boasts an impressive 159 km range. Designed for families, the Rizta prioritizes comfort and practicality. It features a spacious seat, ample legroom, and 56L of storage space including under-seat storage and an optional front trunk. Speaking on the occasion, Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, stated that with the introduction of the Rizta, they hope to satisfy the demands of customers who prefer family scooters. Their customers in Kolkata were very pleased with the performance of the Ather 450 series of scooters. Families can use the Rizta because of its large, comfy seat, lots of storage, and many useful and safe features. It provides an excellent riding experience and makes navigating through Kolkata's typical congested streets and tiny lanes simple.
