News Desk, News Nation 360 : The prestigious Desun Hospital, which is committed to offering the best medical care possible, held a thorough workshop recently that covered Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). The workshop included instruction, Q&A sessions, and hands-on training. Doctors, medical staff, and community members eagerly participated in the event, all wanting to improve their life-saving abilities. Reflecting on the significance of the workshop, Dr Amit Bhowmik commented that Occasions such as these are vital in equipping people with the information and abilities required to properly manage medical emergencies. Through providing hands-on training in ACLS and BLS, their goal is to build a community of self-assured first responders who can save lives in an emergency. To add to their
basket, they also intend to perform PALS (Paediatric Advance Life Support) and ATLS (Advance Trauma Life Support). The workshop featured practical demonstrations and hands-on training sessions led by Dr Amit Bhowmik, Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Desun Hospital, Kolkata. The objective of the workshop was to provide participants with essential and evidence-based techniques for handling adult and paediatric life-threatening situations both in and out of hospitals. These included responding to brain stroke, and cardiac emergencies, performing CPR, and responding to brain damage. Using a medical mannequin and other medical devices, Dr Bhowmik and his team performed live demonstrations that demonstrated their expertise and dedication while offering priceless insights into emergency medical procedures.
