The First Doctor-Staffed Free Ambulance Service for Senior Citizens is Introduced in Kolkata by HP Ghosh Hospital

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The first doctor-staffed free ambulance service in Kolkata is being introduced by HP Ghosh Hospital and is only available to senior citizens. This innovative programme ensures the safety and well-being of senior citizens in a 5 km radius by providing them with emergency medical assistance. In the field of health, there is still a duty of care and humanity despite the thousands of modern services available. The new initiative at the H.P. Ghosh Hospital is based on this social duty. H.P. Ghosh Hospital was founded in 1923 and has progressively developed into a comprehensive, cutting-edge medical facility. In Kolkata, they are

offering some special advanced services in addition to traditional treatments. After the 'Smart ICU' and 'Pulmonary Chest Tree,' the unique ambulance project of today represents a major advancement in this regard. Distinguished guests at the opening ceremony included the hospital's chief executive officer, Somenath Bhattacharya, as well as Dr Pinaki Bandopadhyay, the medical superintendent, and Dr Hirak Bhattacharya, the head of the critical care unit. These people spoke about various aspects of the project and the various stages of treatment for critically ill patients in emergencies at the press conference held on this occasion, along with the hospital's critical care and emergency department specialist doctors. According to Dr. Pinaki Bandopadhyay, the ambulance service will function in an emergency manner, much like the fire department. When the doctor arrived, he or she would treat patients with primary care that could save lives and, if needed, make arrangements for hospital admission. According to Dr Hirak Bhattacharya, this service will be offered seven days a week, around the clock.
