270th Birth Anniversary of Samuel Hahnemann Celebrated

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Sealdah branch of the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India (HMAI) hosted an event to kick off the organisation's 50th foundation anniversary. Kolkata commemorated the 270th birthday of the father of homoeopathy, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, as well as the birthday of renowned homoeopath Dr. J. N. Kanjilal. The function was commenced by Biplab Roy Chowdhury, the Fisheries Minister of West Bengal. Dr. Ashok Kumar Pradhan, a renowned homoeopathic doctor, was specially feted. He was awarded for his significant work in homoeopathic treatment. He was recently at the national level in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He was declared the best doctor for applying single medicine treatment, as per Hahnemann's principles. Dr. Pradhan explained the details regarding this during the function. Dr. Saidul Islam, HMAI Sealdah branch Secretary, mentioned Dr. Ashok Pradhan's work outside medicine. He mentioned Dr. Pradhan's dynamic social work. He also talked about his patronage of institutions such as the Ramakrishna Mission as a social reformer. Minister Biplab Roy Chowdhury said homoeopathy is a scientifically sound system of treatment. He mentioned that prominent historical figures like Rabindranath Tagore, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, and Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay practised homoeopathy. He also informed that he remains healthy at his age due to it.
