SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk. News Nation 360: On April 20, 2026, Bank of India (BOI), a prominent public sector bank, held a "Cyber Fraud Awareness Programme" at the CRPF Headquarters in New Delhi with the express purpose of equipping CRPF troops against sophisticated financial schemes. The conference, which was chaired by Shri D.S. Negi, DIG (Admn) of the CRPF, and attended by BOI General Manager Sh. Vasudev focused on the particular vulnerabilities of employees who frequently handle their accounts remotely while stationed at different battalions and centres around India. The program is a direct outgrowth of the Rakshak pay Scheme Memorandum of Understanding that was signed on December 18, 2025, between the two organisations. It comprises a specially designed pay account that offers up to ₹10 lakh in cyber fraud insurance. Bank of India reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the nation's paramilitary forces' financial security and making sure their hard-earned money is shielded from cybercriminals by incorporating practical knowledge on how to "recognise, reject, and report" cyber threats with an interactive Q&A session.
