News Desk, News Nation 360: The Indian Softball Cricket League (ISCL) has announced the second season of the league during a press conference in Bengaluru. The second season is set to expand almost three times its first season, going from one league to 32 teams and 127 matches nationwide in an effort to develop grassroots softball cricket into a professional sport. The new season was announced by ISCL and Indian Softball Cricket Foundation (ISCF) Founder & President Dr Gangadhar Raju, Chairman B. H. Anil Kumar (former IAS), and Vice Chairman Sanjeev Singh. The league also announced the inclusion of former India Cricketer Harbhajan Singh and another international star, Suresh Raina, as Brand Ambassadors in an effort to promote scouting opportunities for small-town talent. The league will also look to boost its commercial and viewership footprint through a major broadcast partnership with Sony Sports Network (represented by AVP Kaushik Kalluri), with matches being screened at 1,500+ venues through Official Screening Partner Screenox, and a strategic growth approach with MyAsia (represented by Noorul Ameen) to scale the competition both at home and abroad.
