News Desk, News Nation 360: The state championship of the Bharat Robotics League (BRL) 2026, held under the exciting theme "Dangal of Robots", saw a total of 25 student teams from 17 schools in West Bengal compete to bring school students closer to the idea of being pioneers and not mere users of technology. With a focus on pushing the boundaries of practical hardware applications, torque, chassis endurance and rapid prototyping capabilities under the pressure of an intensely competitive environment, the competition saw participants from Grades 7 and above,



battle it out across a three-tier bracket containing the tough Robo-Push challenge, a grueling Robo-Pull contest, a high-stakes Robo-War combat arena; showcasing incredible mechanical design and driving prowess, The New Town School's Prathith V Upadhyaya and Aaditya Kumar Singh walked away with the Overall Championship, also securing victory in both the Robo-Pull and Robo-Push events, while Kalyani Public School, Barasat's Arkaprovo Dutta Chowdhury and Atreyee Chakraborty triumphed in the closely-contested Robo-War tournament, with winning participants receiving top-of-the-line hardware kits, championship trophies and professional mentoring support.
