SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: Bandhan Bank, a universal lender, has crossed an important milestone in its journey as it forays into the credit card business for the first time with the launch of its proprietary card portfolio in association with Mastercard. The bank announced four variants of flame-inspired credit cards, namely Sparks, Ignite, Flare and Lumina, to cater to the needs of a wide spectrum of customers from Gen Z and mass affluent shoppers to frequent travellers and luxury buyers. The cards were unveiled by the bank’s MD & CEO Partha Pratim Sengupta, Mastercard President (India & South Asia) Gautam Aggarwal, ED & CBO Rajinder Kumar Babbar and Credit Cards Head Piush Jha. The bank’s differentiated proposition encompasses a seamless end-to-end digital onboarding experience and tailored benefits for diverse customer segments. While Sparks will enable customers to earn points on everyday purchases, including groceries, apparel, and fuel, Ignite will offer benefits on travel and dining through EazyDiner along with privileges at lounges. The Flare variant will focus on rewards on travel, Amazon Pay vouchers and golf privileges. The top-tier credit card, Lumina, will provide Oberoi hotel vouchers, airport concierge and meet-and-greet services, golf privileges and higher reward rates on international transactions to take its retail business to newer heights and augment its customer base of 3.2 crore and 6,400-plus branches across the country.
