SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: With the opening of its first Corporate Banking Branch in INS Tower in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai, Bandhan Bank has formally increased its commercial presence in India's financial hub. The bank's Managing Director and CEO, Mr Partha Pratim Sengupta, along with Executive Director and Chief Business Officer Mr Rajinder Kumar Babbar, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer Mr Ratan Kumar Kesh, and Wholesale Banking Head Mr Satish Kumar, formally opened the specialised corporate hub. This new facility will only serve large corporations, mid-sized businesses, and institutional clients by providing tailored financial strategies, relationship management, structured finance solutions, and industry-specific advisory services. It is specifically intended to bolster the private lender's wholesale banking franchise. With a wholesale loan book that reached Rs 48,450 crore as of March 2026—representing 31.4% of its total advances portfolio—and a vast pan-Indian footprint that includes 3.2 crore customers across 6,380 banking outlets, the bank is making this strategic push as it continues to diversify beyond its traditional retail and microfinance roots.
