News Desk, News Nation 360 : The historic Aditya Bari Kali Puja, one of Bengal's most treasured cultural festivities with a three-century heritage, returns this year with a theme that brilliantly combines the classic and the contemporary: "Where Sabeki Roots Meet Golden Glitter." This year's theme is a radiant tribute to Bengal's ageless creativity, combining the traditional spirit of devotion with the elegance and luminosity of contemporary design. Aditya Bari Kali Puja, carrying forward its 300-year-old tradition of faith, creativity, and camaraderie, revealed its 2025 theme, named "Where Sabeki Roots Meet Golden Glitter", commemorating the integration of classical Bengal tastes with contemporary sophistication. The theme represents the cultural soul of Bengal by blending classic motifs with up-to-date design aesthetics. This year's work is a prayer in image form, uniting faith, architecture, and sentiment through an enthralling visual vocabulary replete with red and gold—red representing the all-powerful quality of the Divine Mother, and gold representing divine prosperity and effulgence. The pandal is inspired by heavenly influence, where the conventional *alpona* designs find a new interpretation in glittering visual forms. Gold-flecked curtains, reflective surfaces, and iridescent backdrops form a consecrated golden aura that surrounds the room, beckoning pilgrims into a higher reality. Every individually crafted element—from painted patterns to piled fabric—bears testament to Bengal's fabled craftsmanship and speaks of a vibrant discourse between tradition and innovation. With its elegant merging of ritual and radiance, the 2025 Aditya Bari Kali Puja is a beacon of how Bengal's bonedi traditions keep pace with modern times without losing their spiritual soul. Speaking about the significance of this year’s theme, Anirban Aditya, Chairman, Aditya Group, shared that Aditya Bari Kali Puja has always been about honouring their roots while celebrating the changing beauty of culture. This year's theme is a celebration of the harmony between devotion and design, faith and festivity, tradition and contemporary. 'Sabeki Roots Meet Golden Glitter' captures the brilliant journey of Bengal's spirit.
