SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360: In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Kolkata New Horizons, Salt Lake Renaissance, R.P. Welfare Trust, and Life Care Blood Bank, the All Bengal Men's Forum (ABMF) arranged a lively volunteer blood donation camp in Kolkata ahead of World Blood Donor Day and Father's Day. The humanitarian drive, which was held close to the ABMF headquarters, attracted a lot of enthusiastic volunteers and was successful in obtaining blood donations from 47 people—42 men and 5 women. Notably, a number of active panel lawyers were among the female donors who took part in order to serve as a prominent role model for civic engagement. To commemorate the fundamental sacrifices, leadership, and familial contributions of fathers, the organisers held a Father's Day section called "Special Tributes for Dads" in conjunction with the medical drive. The cooperative organisations' representatives reaffirmed their commitment to making these public health camps a regular part of the calendar and stressed the importance of voluntary blood donation to humanity. In the end, the collaborative effort was widely praised locally for its effective fusion of social solidarity and community health awareness.
