SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360: At 15/2/C, Balai Singha Lane, off Amherst Street in North Kolkata, the Sanatani Sangha successfully arranged a comprehensive, free multi-speciality health check-up camp, creating a crucial grassroots healthcare station to offer vital medical diagnostics and treatment options to local community members at no cost. The medical camp provided a wide range of specialised clinical services, including automated blood sugar testing, cardiovascular blood pressure screenings, electrocardiograms (ECG), general physician check-ups, diagnostic dental consultations, thorough physiotherapy assessments, and specialised arthritis screenings, all of which were directly overseen by community leader Anand Shaw. A major highlight of the community outreach program was a specialised ophthalmic zone that offered free eye check-ups alongside the immediate on-site distribution of prescription eyeglasses to underprivileged residents requiring corrective vision support. Reflecting the socio-cultural importance of the initiative, the camp was attended by a distinguished panel of civic leaders, political dignitaries, and spiritual figures—including the revered "Kartick Maharaj" of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha, long-standing KMC Councillor "Meena Devi Purohit", West Bengal BJP Media Convenor "Chandrashekhar Basutia", North Kolkata District BJP President "Tamoghna Ghosh", and North Kolkata Yuva Morcha President "Subodh Das"—who collectively lauded the Sangha's operational dedication to delivering high-impact preventive health interventions and primary medical infrastructure directly to the doorsteps of local neighborhoods.
