Amity University Kolkata Hosted Convocation 2025

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Amity University Kolkata successfully held its 2025 Convocation in Kolkata. Approximately 2000 students got degrees in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programmes. The celebration emphasised Amity's ongoing commitment to academic excellence, leadership development, and global readiness. The coveted Shree Baljit Sashtri Award is bestowed upon 23 deserving students who possess great traditional and human characteristics. The occasion was attended by Honourable Chancellor Dr Atul Chauhan, Honourable Vice-Chancellor Dr Ashok K. Srivastava, and Honourable Senior Vice-President U. Ramachandran. Two outstanding

industry executives, Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson, PwC India, and Rahul L. Kanodia, Vice Chairman & CEO, Datamatics Global Services Ltd., were granted honorary degrees.  In his address, Chancellor Dr Atul Chauhan praised the graduates for their resilience and dedication. He stated that convocation reminds them that excellence must be pursued with empathy and purpose. Amity graduates have often demonstrated that they can lead with both intelligence and integrity. Their graduates depart with not only degrees, but also the curiosity and values necessary to flourish in a complex world. As he has often stated, Amity graduates' actual success is determined by their ability to create and make important contributions to society.
