Apollo Hospitals Introduces "Always Open, Always Here"

News Desk, News Nation 360: Apollo Hospitals has launched ‘Always Open. Always Here.’, a national health care program wherein the routine and scheduled services like outpatient speciality consultations, diagnostic tests, preventive Master Health Checks, follow-ups and elective surgeries will be conducted on a week round-the-clock, including Sundays. The impetus to this program, triggered by the results of Apollo’s Health of the Nation 2026 Report, conducted through 2.5 million screenings, where it was found that 26% of people had hypertension and 23% had diabetes without any external signs of the same, is based on the premise that people delay their health checks owing to the limitation of time on weekdays. Highlighting the change from reactive medicine to preventive medicine, Founder & Chairman Dr Prathap C. Reddy and Executive Vice Chairperson Dr Preetha Reddy pointed out that by utilising the existing network infrastructure, operating suites and multidisciplinary teams of Apollo Hospitals on Sundays, millions can take care of their health issues without waiting for the weekdays.
