News Desk, News Nation 360 : After a long nine-year legal battle that began in June 2017, Aradeep Chatterjee, an alternative cancer treatment researcher and corresponding member of ASCO, together with his father, homeopath Dr. Ashim Kumar Chatterjee, a renowned homoeopath, has finally been completely and honourably exonerated of all criminal and monetary charges. Initially arrested by the Bidhannagar Police for practicing medicine without a license and later investigated by the Enforcement Directorate in a case filed under the PMLA, which resulted in the freezing of their family savings, the Chatterjees were finally exonerated in 2024 and 2025 when the Fast Track Court of Barasat and the Special ED Court of Kolkata declared the charges against them to be completely baseless and far-fetched. The courts specifically noted that Aradeep never pretended to be a conventional medical doctor; he was a committed researcher whose work on Psorinum Therapy had gained him international recognition in the scientific community. With these judgments finally in place and recognised by both the State and ED, all their savings and assets, which had been seized, were returned to them with interest, thus completely debunking the claim that they were proceeds of crime. Now completely exonerated, Aradeep has again placed his faith in the Indian judicial system and is committed to rebuilding his reputation by promoting the inclusion of Psorinum Therapy in mainstream oncology. This inexpensive alternative therapy is specifically aimed at late-stage, inoperable cancers—namely, pancreatic, liver, and gallbladder cancers—and seeks to shrink tumours and extend survival times while keeping side effects to a minimum. After having survived what his supporters claimed were fraudulent and motivated charges, Aradeep is now seeking international collaborations and research to help bridge the gap between alternative and conventional medicine, ensuring that this inexpensive therapy is made available to Stage IV cancer patients who have run out of options.
