News Desk, News Nation 360 : On the occasion of Women's Day, a three-day Basanta Utsav featuring independent women got underway at Sobhabazar Rajbari's Gopinath house which is an initiative by his daughter-in-law, Sushmita Deb Bourani. Daily hours for the self-help women's groups exhibition are 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Additionally, starting at 5 p.m., there will be a unique cultural programme. On International Women's Day, noble women receive congratulations on the first day of the spring festival. 'Women's Work' was the topic of a discussion meeting. Padmashri Pritikana Goswami, a Kantha singer, received special recognition. According to Sushmita Dev Bourani, the
spring festival and handicraft exhibition created by independent women will run through March 10. The participants in the discussion included environmental scientist Swati Nandi Chakraborty, journalist Mahua Santra, Dr Sharmistha Das, screenwriter Deepanvita Ghosh Mukhopadhyay, musician Indrani Bhattacharya, and first female mountaineer Dipali Sinha. According to her, the goal of this programme is to empower the underprivileged women in society to become independent. A concert featuring renowned Rabindra Sangeet Manoj Murali Nair and Dakghar marked the end of Vasant Utsav on March 16.
