SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: Infrastructure engineering software company Bentley Systems, Incorporated (Nasdaq: BSY) organised ‘Bentley Innovation Day Kolkata’ to gather civil engineers, stakeholders, consultants, and digital technology experts to demonstrate how artificial intelligence (AI), connected data ecosystems, and digital twins can reinvent lifecycle asset delivery in transportation, water, energy, and cities. The conference celebrated Kolkata’s unique historical contribution to the Bentley’s journey as the home to where STAAD – the structural analysis and design software solutions born in India – was conceived and realized as an international standard and key component of Bentley’s engineering software portfolio; in his address to the delegates, Kamalakanta Tiruvadi, Bentley Systems Regional Executive for South Asia, revealed how the combination of AI-driven tools and Model Context Protocol (MCP)-enabled workflows empower multidisciplinary engineers to engage directly with the engineering data, automate drafting calculations, and eliminate project silos to make informed decisions before embarking on the next leg of the roadshow in Delhi.
