News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Bharat Chamber of Commerce hosted the India International Grand Trade Fair 2025 (IIGTF), which was enthusiastically opened in Kolkata to mark the start of one of the nation's most important trade and commerce exhibitions. The expo will be open to visitors every day from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Science City from August 2–18, 2025. Dr. Shashi Panja, Hon'ble Minister of Industry, Commerce and Enterprises of the Government of West Bengal, was the Guest-in-Chief to the Inaugural Ceremony of the IIGTF. The occasion was also graced by the

presence of several high-profile international dignitaries as Guests of Honour, namely His Excellency Maxim V. Kozlov, Consul General of Russia; His Excellency Aung Aung Myo Thein, Consul General of Myanmar; His Excellency Xu Wei, Consul General of China; His Excellency Dasho Tashi Penjore, Consul General of Bhutan; and Sikder Mohammad Ashrafur Rahaman, Acting Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh. Hosted with the coordination of CCG Marketing & Services, this year's fair is a massive exhibition consisting of more than 500 booths in 11 air-conditioned pavilions, showcasing thousands of exclusive consumer and commercial goods. The exhibition reflects both global and local representation, with participants from over eight nations, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Malaysia, Turkey, Thailand, and the UAE, in addition to representatives from 20 Indian states, like Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, and Gujarat. Naresh Pachisia, President of the Bharat Chamber of Commerce, stated that the India International Grand Trade Fair 2025 is not only a trade show but also a thriving platform for innovation, teamwork, and enterprise. The expo, which the Bharat Chamber of Commerce organises in collaboration with CCG Marketing & Services, unites industry leaders, MSMEs, startups, and participants from around the world. In addition to surpassing past attendance, they are optimistic that this year's event in Kolkata will create new opportunities for collaboration and progress for all involved.
