SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360 : Bharti AXA Life Insurance, one of the top life insurers in Odisha, has announced that it has expanded into four additional towns and cities: Puri, Keonjhar, Kendrapara, and Nayagarh. This action demonstrates the company's dedication to increasing insurance coverage and awareness while also generating jobs in these disadvantaged areas. Commenting on the development, Murli Jalan, Chief Business Officer – New Revenue Verticals at Bharti AXA Life Insurance, stated that for them, Odisha is strategically significant, and the confidence their clients have in them is the foundation of their regional expansion. They are investing in the next generation of talent by expanding into new areas and providing them with industry-relevant skills through BIMA BHARTI. This program demonstrates their shared dedication to raising awareness of insurance and facilitating young people's employment in the marketplace. A testament to its deep-seated commitment to generating employment opportunities, the company has inaugurated its flagship apprenticeship initiative, BIMA BHARTI, in Odisha under the Government of India's National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). The initiative started with its first all-female batch of apprentices, who will undergo practical training on key functions like business development, product know-how, and marketing activities. This program will skill local youth, particularly women, to develop the training they need for a bright career in the insurance industry. Apprentices will also get an option to improve their overall wages through performance-linked incentives over six months. Those completing it will be awarded a Government of India certificate, which will be accepted across employment exchanges across the country, thus facilitating their future job opportunities.
