Prashant Sharma, MD of Charnock Hospital, and Prof. Suman Chakraborty, Director of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, were present when the Memorandum of Understanding was signed. The main goal of this agreement is to bring the latest healthcare research and the actual work that doctors do. First, they want to test the health technologies that IIT Kharagpur has developed. They also want to collect data from hospitals to help with intelligence and machine learning research. Additionally, they want to start training programs for doctors and engineers. By working with IIT Kharagpur and Charnock Hospital, they want to create solutions that are good for patients. They want to make diagnostic tools, too.
