The company's whole B2B Lighting Product Range received the renowned CII GreenPro Certification (Type-1 Ecolabel) at the GreenPro Summit India 2025. This makes Crompton the first lighting business to provide a full GreenPro Certified Solution Range. This achievement comes just a year after Crompton received its first GreenPro Ecolabel accreditation for ceiling fans, demonstrating the company's dedication to driving environmental responsibility across all product categories. The GreenPro Ecolabel Certification, initiated by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and globally accredited by the Global Ecolabelling Network, certifies that a product is environmentally responsible in its life cycle from raw material procurement through manufacture to end-of-life disposal and is granted after thorough third-party testing against explicit ecolabel criteria proving sustainable design, tested performance of the product, responsible use of materials, resource-conserving manufacture, waste management, life cycle analysis, product stewardship, and innovation, with products scoring a minimum of 50 out of a maximum 100 credit points being eligible for certification valid for two years and renewed annually. By gaining this certification for its entire B2B lighting portfolio, spanning indoor, industrial, outdoor, solar, and high-mast categories, Crompton demonstrates a strong commitment to enabling the green building, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors with dependable, effective, and truly sustainable lighting solutions.
