SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, Dakshini Prayash and mPokket jointly opened the Dakshini Prayash mPowerment Centre in Kolkata, West Bengal, which was a major turning point in Dakshini Prayash's long-standing dedication to community-driven development and women's empowerment. The centre's goal is to assist women from marginalised areas in developing their skills, independence, self-assurance, and financial independence. In addition to receiving organised instruction, women are being encouraged to produce a variety of eco-friendly handcrafted goods like paper bags, candles, gifts, and other livelihood items. This allows them to make a living, provide for their families, and develop their own identities with dignity. This collaboration, according to board member Abhimanyu Prakash, is a significant step towards inclusive development and community-led change. Rajnai Jalan, speaking on behalf of mPokket, expressed joy in working with Dakshini Prayash and commended the organisation's persistent, significant work at the grassroots level to empower women in a useful and long-lasting manner. The mPowerment Centre is completely in line with mPokket's objective of inclusive, responsible, and sustainable economic development, according to Gaurav Jalan. The event marked the start of a transformative journey where Dakshini Prayash is not only offering training but also creating genuine opportunities for women to become independent, respected, and truly empowered. This was symbolised by the active participation of women beneficiaries, community members, and stakeholders.
