SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk. News Nation 360: As part of its extensive paediatric multispecialty growth, Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Child Care Centre in New Town, Kolkata, has opened a dedicated Child Development Centre (CDC). The new facility serves as a complete continuum-of-care approach and was established to address the increasing regional burden of neurodevelopmental, behavioural, and neurological problems in children aged 0–18 in Eastern India. A multidisciplinary clinical team led by paediatric neurology specialists Drs. Indrasish Ray Chaudhuri and Debapriya Roy attended the CDC's inauguration. The centre brings together a broad team of paediatricians, neurologists, psychologists, special educators, and speech, occupational, and physical therapists under one roof in a secure, sensory-friendly setting. Advanced diagnostics, neurorehabilitation, early developmental delay screenings, and strong family-centred support pipelines with carer training and long-term counselling are all included in its broad clinical portfolio. Child growth necessitates a strategy that goes far beyond episodic therapy to coordinated, long-term care, according to Parthiv Neotia, Joint Managing Director of Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited. The CDC hopes to become a leading regional centre of excellence by emphasising early detection, comprehensive clinical therapy, and active family involvement. This will lead to far more inclusive healthcare pathways and better functional results for young people with neurodiverse conditions.
