News Desk, News Nation 360 : The highly anticipated annual cultural event "El Sailijo 2.0" was held in Kolkata, organised by the Mariners' D'Hearts Committee. The excitement that had built up in the city's art and culture circles all week reached its ultimate expression when dusk fell. The organisers produced a one-of-a-kind cultural spectacle by bringing together talents from music, dance, and sports. The evening's major feature was beloved vocalist Nachiketa Chakraborty, whose live performance drew loud ovations from the audience hall. He was joined on stage by prominent movie and television vocalist Abhik Mukherjee and Soubhik De, a dazzling finalist from Zed Bangla Dance Dance Season 11, who grabbed the audience with his dance intensity. Popular RJ Nilanjana kept the event running well, delighting the audience with her natural wit on multiple occasions.

Chief convenors of the organising committee, Arindam Mallick, Abhishek Majumdar, and Abhijit Ghosh, stated that expanding the event on a grander scale was their goal this year. The gracious presence of special guests elevated its prestige manifold. The chief guest was Debasish Dutta, President of Mohun Bagan AC, along with executive committee members. Due to illness, former Mohun Bagan AC Secretary Shri Tutu Bose joined via video call. The sports world was also well-represented by Babun Bandyopadhyay (Joint Secretary, Boxing Federation of India), Kunal Saha (Joint Secretary, West Bengal Progressive Boxing Association), and national football stars—Muk Hopi, Jose Barreto, and Pritam Kotal. Cultural aficionados in the city believe that the ongoing event has the potential to set a new standard for Kolkata's cultural landscape in the years ahead.
