SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360 : Bharti Airtel has awarded Ericsson a multi-year NOC Managed Services (MS) contract, extending the two firms' long-standing collaboration. This strategic collaboration reinforces Ericsson's expertise in managed services and its commitment to providing outstanding value to Airtel customers. Randeep Sekhon, CTO of Bharti Airtel, stated that they are thrilled to strengthen their excellent partnership with Ericsson as they work towards their objective of building a future-ready network that provides an exceptional experience for their consumers. They believe that these innovative solutions would enable us to fulfil the increasing data demands of consumers in a digitally connected India. This agreement will facilitate intent-based operations at Ericsson. This is driven by its centralised Network Operations Centre (NOC). This NOC will operate Airtel services. These services include 4G, 5G NSA, 5G SA, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), Private Networks, and Network Slicing. This tie-up will result in Ericsson operating Airtel's pan-India network. They will utilise their advanced NOC to achieve this. They will also deploy FWA and Network Slicing pan-India.
