Eveready Introduced a Cutting-Edge Shor Torch With an Animal Alarm to Assist Farmers in Crop Protection

News Desk, News Nation 360: The Eveready Shor Torch DL190, a cutting-edge, durable, rechargeable torch designed especially to help Indian farmers safeguard crops from animal encroachment at night, has been formally introduced by Eveready Industries India Ltd. The multipurpose torch, which costs ₹1,099 in stores and online, has a red UV strobe light and a 100-decibel animal alert to dissuade wildlife in a safe, compassionate, and non-harmful manner. The BIS-certified torch is powered by a 3,600 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery that supports Type-C fast charging. It has an integrated 3W side light for field surveillance, fertilisation, and general agricultural tasks in addition to a 5W front beam that provides long-range visibility up to 1 km (with up to 5 hours of continuous runtime). CEO Mr Anirban Banerjee highlighted the event and stressed Eveready's emphasis on grassroots innovation, offering a useful tool to help rural communities protect their livelihoods.
