Fata Kestor Kali Puja of College Street Enters its 68th Year

The annual puja, performed in an alley at 121, Sitaram Ghosh Street, College Street, North Kolkata, has become recognised throughout India as 'Fata Kesto's Kali Puja'. individuals from many walks of life, from politicians and actresses to athletes and writers around the country, are eager to join in this puja. The Puja Committee Secretary, Prabandha Roy (Fanta Da), stated that this year commemorates the 68th year of the puja. The puja was inaugurated with a grandiose occasion on October 18, 2025. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim, MP and actress June Malia, MLA Madan Mitra, Anupam Halder, Joint Commissioner Excise Department- Government of West Bengal, MLA Supti Pandey, MLA Debasish Kumar, former MLA Sanjay Bakshi, Councillor Sadhana Bose, Councillor Suparna Dutta, Councillor Biswarup Dey, actress and model Sathi Sarkar, and this year's idol artist, Mintu Pal.
