Google and Bharti Airtel Announced a Collaboration

Every postpaid and Wi-Fi user will have free access to 100 GB of Google One cloud storage for six months. Up to five more individuals will be able to share this storage with them as well. Airtel has tied up with Google One to provide its users with 100 GB of cloud storage space to meet increasing data storage needs. The arrangement provides users with sufficient storage space for images, videos, documents, and other digital material, thereby no longer requiring regular deletions or costly physical storage. The facility also makes it easier for Android users to switch devices, as WhatsApp chats are saved to Google Account storage. As a promotional offer, the 100 GB cloud storage will be provided for free for the initial six months from the day of activation, after which a small charge of ₹125 per month will be added to the customer's bill. Users can claim this advantage through the Airtel Thanks App and can opt out of the subscription after the trial. With Google One storage, members receive 100 GB for Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail, safe backups for different digital content and WhatsApp conversations, and sharing with up to five more people at no additional cost. The inclusion of Google One reinforces Airtel's digital subscription services, putting it in a strong position to deliver an all-rounded digital lifestyle experience to its users.
