News Desk, News Nation 360 : In a spectacular closing ceremony honouring innovative thinking and teamwork, Kritanj 2025, the annual Techno-Management Fest of Narula Institute of Technology, a JIS Group Educational Initiative, ended. The event, which included several advanced competitions, seminars, and interactive sessions, provided a dynamic platform for ambitious technocrats, engineers, students, and management professionals over two exciting days. One of the main highlights of Kritanj 2025 was Hack-O-NiT, a 24-hour overnight hackathon that saw a huge response with more than 180 teams registering, leading to a hot final round among the top 30, including 18 teams from top government and private engineering colleges in West Bengal, promoting a rich exchange of ideas and featuring outstanding innovations like a drone based on AI and advanced imaging for real-time plant disease detection to improve crop health and yield, and a Robotic Dog designed for elderly companionship to give emotional support and help with day-to-day tasks for independent living; Kritanj 2025 also saw a rich diversity of competitions in Robotics, AI-ML, Circuit Designing, Coding, Gaming, Ideathons, Quizzes, Start-up Pitches, and Management-based challenges, sponsored by the IEEE CIS Student Chapter, IEEE Communication
Society (Kolkata Chapter), ASCE International Student Chapter, the Institution of Engineers, MCCI, and fueled by Idea-O-Meter, drawing an active participation from students, academicians, and industry professionals. Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director of JIS Group, stated that once more, Kritanj 2025 has shown itself to be a hive of creativity and quality. It is admirable how clever and tenacious the players were in pushing the frontiers of technology. More than just a contest, this festival serves as a stage for the development of ideas, partnerships, and tomorrow's leaders. The JIS Group is still dedicated to supporting these kinds of programs that advance research, information, and people prepared for the workforce.
